These terms govern the “Win a Solenco Life Sphere Ice Maker” promotional competition. By entering, you agree to them. This is a promotional competition for the purposes of section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
1. Promoter

2. No purchase necessary
Entry is free. You do not have to buy anything, and you are not required to pay any consideration to enter or to win, other than your own ordinary cost of internet access to reach the entry page.
3. Who may enter
- You must be a natural person, resident in South Africa, and 18 years or older on the closing date.
- Members, directors, employees, agents and consultants of Solenco South Africa CC, of its suppliers of goods or services in connection with this competition, and of any advertising or promotional agency involved, together with their spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members, may not enter.
4. How to enter
Complete the entry form on the competition page with your full name and a valid email address, and submit it before the closing date.
One entry per email address. If more than one entry is received for the same email address, only the first is counted.
5. Competition period
Entries close at 23:59 South African Standard Time on 14 September 2026. Entries received after that moment are not accepted. Our server’s record of the time of receipt is the record we use.
6. The prize
- One (1) Solenco Life Sphere Ice Maker, retail value R6,499 including VAT.
- There is one prize and one winner.
- The prize is not transferable, and it cannot be exchanged for cash or for any other product.
- We deliver the prize to a street address in South Africa at our cost. We do not deliver outside South Africa.
- The prize is supplied with its standard Solenco product warranty. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
7. How the winner is chosen and notified
- The winner is drawn at random from all valid entries, within seven (7) days after the closing date.
- We notify the winner by email, to the address entered, within seven (7) days of the draw.
- The winner must respond and provide a South African delivery address within fourteen (14) days of that notification. If we receive no response in that time, the entry lapses and we may draw another winner from the remaining valid entries, on the same basis.
- We may ask the winner to confirm their identity and age before the prize is handed over.
8. Your personal information
- We collect your name and email address to run this competition, and we process them for that purpose in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
- The marketing opt-in on the entry form is optional and separate. Ticking it is not a condition of entry, and your entry counts exactly the same either way.
- If you do tick it, we may send you Solenco news and offers by email, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email.
- If you do not tick it, we use your details only to run this competition and to contact you if you win.
- You may ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at info@solencostore.com.
9. Announcing the result
We may publish the winner’s first name and province. We will not publish your email address or any other contact detail. We ask the winner’s consent before publishing anything more than that, and the winner is free to decline without affecting their prize.
10. Competition rules
These terms are the rules of this competition. A copy is available free of charge on request from info@solencostore.com, and remains available on this page for the duration of the competition. We keep the required records of this competition for three (3) years.
11. General
- We may end, suspend or amend this competition if something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If we do, we will publish the change on this page. We will not do so to avoid awarding the prize.
- Entries that are incomplete, or that we reasonably determine to be automated or fraudulent, are not valid.
- Our decision on the validity of an entry is final, and we will give reasons on request.
- South African law governs this competition.
